Project Overview

This is a bulk custom quartz countertop project for the bathroom spaces of T Chain Hotel in the United States. The countertops are made from 30mm thick StellaGold quartz slabs. The order involves customized fabrication of integrated bathroom countertops featuring U-shaped sink cutouts and pre-drilled hardware holes. The finished products have been shipped to the US-based B2B hotel contractor client.

Project Details

Pattern and Space Suitability

The project uses a hot stamping process that replicates the natural veining of Calacatta Gold marble. The pattern features a pure, milky white base with light gold and grey veining flowing like gold foil, delivering a rich, layered, and dynamic visual appeal. The texture is luxurious and transparent. Its tonal palette suits two mainstream American design styles: modern luxury and contemporary minimalism. It can be seamlessly integrated into various bathroom spaces like countertops and vanities. It elevates the overall spatial quality with a high-end, marble-like aesthetic, crafting a premium bathing experience.

Precise Cutting

To meet the customization requirements for the bathroom U-shaped sink countertops, CNC equipment is used for precise U-shaped cutting. The fit tolerance at the U-shaped corners is ≤0.5mm. This perfectly adapts to the integrated installation needs of American under-mount sinks, ensuring a seamless fit between the sink and countertop.

Fine Edge Finishing

All bathroom countertop edges feature a 45° bevel combined with an 8-step fine polishing process. The U-shaped cutout edges receive rounded corner finishing. This eliminates sharp edges to prevent bumps, in compliance with residential/hotel safety design standards. It also enhances comfort and aesthetics, strengthening the overall high-end quality.

Custom Cutout Processing

Precise U-shaped sink cutouts are made according to the client’s provided American under-mount sink model specifications. The cutout dimensional error is controlled within ±0.5mm, ensuring the sink fits seamlessly. Simultaneously, Φ35mm holes for hardware (faucet, soap dispenser, etc.) are pre-drilled. The hole center distances are accurately aligned, and edges are smooth without burrs, fully compatible with the standardized installation requirements for American bathroom hardware.

Shaped Slab Processing

Additional custom components, such as side splash guards and cabinet filler panels, are fabricated. These adapt to transition areas between bathroom cabinets and walls. This enables seamless connections for all countertops within the bathroom space, achieving an integrated renovation effect.

Full Process Quality Inspection

Drawing and Dimension Verification

The project CAD drawings are checked against the final products. Key parameters are verified, including the overall countertop dimensions (1200x550x20mm), U-shaped sink cutout size and center distance, and pre-drilled hardware hole positions. This ensures compatibility with standard American bathroom vanity/sink dimensions.

Core Dimension Re-measurement

Each countertop is measured individually with a tape measure. The total length is 1200mm, width 550mm, thickness 20mm. The U-shaped cutout dimensions are precise. All dimensional errors are controlled within ±1mm, complying with US residential/hotel renovation tolerance standards.
